515: MICHIGAN DOORS

The bi-fold doors will be installed on the Wexford County Airport Community Center Pavilion in Michigan. The building is 150 ft. x 50 ft. Three doors will be installed on each sidewall of the building for a total of six doors. Doors to be insulated for year round use of the pavilion.

I am building a hangar home in northern Michigan. 4y4 airport in Mancelona, Michigan 49659. Looking for a 50' wide by 16' tall door with windows. Hangar will be heated, so door needs to be well sealed. Hangar will likely be steel. But will quote it both ways. Leaning towards schweiss strapped bi fold with remote. Originally wanted hydraulic, but your site has me nervous about snow load and its removal from the truss. Depending on cost, may just put in two of them vs overhead doors at the other end? Looking for quotes and or additonal guidance.

Contemplating building a hangar, 48’ wide hangar door. New construction. Would like a quote for door, and possibly installation for the hangar door in Michigan.

At the beginning stages of designing a hangar and I am researching hangar doors for my 60'x60' hangar in Michigan. I plan to have a 40'x 12' hangar door opening. This is the current opening I need but want to keep my options open if I get a bigger aircraft so I would be opening to standard hangar door sizes and recommendations. Looking to quote a bi-fold door with lift and latch straps.

I have a 54x16 door on cables now with the motor mounted in the trusses, I’m sick of replacing cables. Door is in Michigan. How do I know what to buy? I have 2 identical doors.

Putting up a new building we need (2) Hydraulic door's 40 feet wide by 30 feet high, very well insulated and seals all around very well in Michigan. just looking right now for a really good door for this building. Quote me a wood and a Steel
